I was born Hall's Buster II on May 11, 2000.

When I came to my new home on May 26, 2005, I was very sick and taken straight to the Vets office.  I was given shots and hooked up to IV fluids to save my life.  The Vet said due to the trauma I had suffered within the past couple of weeks my body was shutting down.  Had my new mom not saved me I would not be alive today.  I am now diabetic due to all that has happened and I am on insulin shots twice a day.  My mom bought me a special feeder that gives me little amounts of food every 4 hours to make sure my glucose stays regulated.  I have my own room with my own bed and lots of play toys.  She is really good to me and I love her and my new dad very much and all my K9 brothers and my K9 sister.  My mom spends a lot of time with me trying to keep me safe and not be so afraid when someone wants to touch me.  As you can see by my pictures I am doing good and love them very much.

New Development

As of December 12, 2005, Buster's visit to the vet confirmed that he has started going blind.  The vet stated this is due to the trauma he suffered and his diabetics from that trauma.  Buster is only 5 years old and is now very healthy otherwise.  His diabetics is under control and the vet said he should live a long life but to expect him to be blind by 2006.  There is a surgery that can be done once he is completely blind that will give him back his sight 100%.  The surgery will cost approximately $2000.  I have opened a savings account for Buster in hopes to be able to get this surgery done for him.  I just cannot see him having to be blind for another 7 to 8 years when it is correctable.

If you would like to donate to Buster's surgery that would be great but if you cannot that is fine.  I do ask that you say a special prayer for this little guy who has really been through a rough time but has found his way back to a good life.
